Scott Wilkinson
Owner and
Senior Piercer
Scott Wilkinson has been piercing professionally since 1994. Trained by legends like Fakir Musafar and The Gauntlet piercing studios, and having worked at renowned studios like St. Sabrina’s, Scott came to Las Vegas and opened his own studio to set a higher standard for body piercing in the city.
Scott has continued his education throughout his 30 year career by attending the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) Conference yearly to take classes and learn cutting edge techniques (literally). In 2019, Scott started a YouTube channel called “Piercing with Scott” to share his accumulated knowledge with the rest of the world.
He’s very proud of Piercing Vegas and feels the studio and his team reflect his values and morals related to piercing and the body art industry.
He is a self-proclaimed “piercing nerd” and has a great collection of piercing and jewelry artifacts from all over the globe.
Kelsey Kakos
Head Piercer / Piercing Manager / Studio Mom
With over 10 years of experience and having attended 8 APP conferences to further her education, Kelsey will forever strive to bring the best of her abilities to the workplace to ensure the best possible outcome for your body piercing experiences.
Although she does all piercings that are anatomically acceptable, she specializes in children’s earlobe piercings between 6mo-1 year to 5 years and older. She says that it’s difficult to pinpoint her favorite piercing to do, but currently she’s been having fun with ear, oral and genital projects!
When she’s not in the studio, you can catch her being Mommy to a boy, Oliver and a little girl, Wilhellmina.
They enjoy park days, walking their dogs, cooking/baking, arts and crafts and snuggling up to their favorite Disney movies!
Nova Alexander
Studio Operations
Manager
Nova was raised and spent most of his life in Pittsburgh, PA. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, he entered the piercing industry as an apprentice at Mantis Tattoo & Piercing, who were members of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). Nova completed his apprenticeship, furthered his education at the annual APP conferences, and worked as a piercer at Mantis.
During his apprenticeship, his mentor encouraged him to improve his skills at marketing, mostly social media and paid digital ads.
He ended up managing social media pages and doing basic marketing for a number of shops that were also members of the APP. Discovering a passion for marketing through this process, Nova eventually took a hiatus from the piercing industry to work in Tech – the software as a service (SaaS) industry, specifically – where he thrived and eventually led to him managing Demand Generation and Marketing Operations teams.
Eventually he was able to marry his two passions at Piercing Vegas, where he worked as a Jewelry Manager, got back into piercing, and is currently managing studio operations.
When Nova is not working, you can find him making music, singing, training Muay Thai, weightlifting, playing DnD, playing videogames, and sampling fragrances.
Aaron M.
Piercer
Originally hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Aaron started his piercing career mid-2010, primarily working throughout the greater Cleveland and North-East Ohio area.
He would later go on to travel regularly, making several guest appearances amongst some of the nations most reputable studios – shadowing, mentoring, and serving clients alongside the best the industry has to offer. Aaron would consider himself a jewelry stylist in the art of curation and composition. He is proficient and well rounded as a piercer.
When Aaron’s not piercing, you can bank on him relentlessly training Muay Thai or cooking fresh meals from home.
Dez Firefly
Piercer
Dez is a passionate and professionally trained body piercer with experience working at multiple high quality studios here in Las Vegas. She is so excited to be at Piercing Vegas. Her favorite piercings to do are paired vertical eyebrow and bridge piercings, and her expertise lies in styling and embracing creative challenges, especially when symmetry is involved. She loves to help clients feel more confident and comfortable in their skin by enhancing their beauty with jewelry!
She attended the annual Association of Professional Piercers (APP) Conference here in Las Vegas to continuously further her education to ensure that she’s always able to provide clients with the best and safest experience possible.
She appreciates maximalist styles, and favors bold statement pieces with lots of textures and chains. Yellow gold paired with garnet is her favorite combination.
She enjoys working with children, she is very comforting and motherly! Seeing their faces after they look in the mirror and see their new earrings is so rewarding! She is always patient and positive to ensure every little one has the best experience for their first piercings.
Outside of piercing itself, she is passionate about jewelry photography and culinary arts and her life basically revolves around being Rob Zombie’s biggest fan!
Sydnee Jett
Studio Attendant / Jewelry Assistant
Born in Long Beach, CA, Sydnee came to Las Vegas in 2023 after turning 18 to look for new opportunities.
Her interest in body piercing first came about the first time she saw a septum piercing, and knew she had to get one. On her 18th birthday, she got the piercing of her dreams, and the rest is history.
She believes body piercings are an impactful way to boost confidence in oneself and loves facilitating that process for others. She’s a huge fan of nose piercings, and is currently adding to her implant grade titanium setup on her own nose!
A year before working at Piercing Vegas, she was a client of the studio. After Scott pierced a pair of nostrils on her, it became her dream to work at Piercing Vegas and in the industry and is so thrilled that her dream came true.
She enjoys learning about different kinds of body modifications like tattooing, scarification, suspension, and others. She also enjoys playing shooting and battle royale video games, hanging out with her cats, and camping. She is deeply passionate about rescuing animals and social justice.
